FAME FRAME Gallery presents Mysteries of Light — an exhibition-competition dedicated to one of art’s most powerful and elusive elements: light itself.
Light shapes how we see, feel, and understand the world. It reveals form and conceals meaning, creates depth, atmosphere, and emotion.
Mysteries of Light invites creators to experiment with contrast, reflection, transparency, and shadow across all styles and mediums. Each work captures a moment where light alters perception, blurs boundaries, or evokes an unspoken sense of wonder.
This exhibition seeks to uncover the poetic and emotional power of light — reminding us that what illuminates also leaves room for mystery, and that seeing is often inseparable from feeling.
ARTISTS’ ENTRY OPENS ON 15.3.2026.
Winning works will be unveiled here on 7.4.2026.

First Prize Winner Chad Robert Collofello, Trinity
Heavy Body Acrylic on Stretched Canvas 122cmW x 122cmH United States Monetary Prize — 100 €
"In this work, light emerges as the central protagonist: it does not merely illuminate, but actively shapes the space, symbolism, and the interaction between the figures. The concentric circles of light evoke a sense of the cosmic and the energetic, suggesting an almost spiritual dimension. The composition is dynamic and conceptually driven, exploring themes of unity, connection, and perhaps even a trinitarian relationship. Color and light function in harmony, creating a distinctly mystical atmosphere that resonates deeply with the exhibition’s theme.
This is a work in which light is not simply a tool—it is the meaning itself." — FAME FRAME collective

"Black and white double exposure digital composite photograph where the entire composition is driven by a singular, focused channel of white light. "The image captures a vibrant and artistic scene, where a vertical spectrum of light paints the backdrop for a silhouetted plant. The light begins with a cool turquoise at the top, gradually transitioning through shades of green, yellow, and orange, culminating in a warm red at the bottom. This spectrum creates a striking contrast against the neutral, textured wall, which appears to be light gray or off-white. The plant, positioned in front of the light display, is rendered in complete silhouette, its dark form sharply defined against the colorful glow."
Honorable Mention Matthias Krispien, Lightfull diamonds to ward off fear in the forest

Honorable Mention SUSANA MAZZARINO, Rose Threshold
Digital painting on canvas (giclée, museum quality). Spain
"Rose Threshold / Umbral Rosa — serie Umbrales Verticales, 2025
A vertical column of dense, particle-laden light bisects a saturated magenta-rose field, its white-gold core dispersing outward through amber and pink registers. The work examines verticality as a pictorial axis — light structured as an ascending concentration of matter rather than as illumination of a surface."
