FAME FRAME Gallery presents Floral Inspirations — an exhibition-competition celebrating the timeless muse of nature’s most delicate creation: the flower.
From ancient tapestries to digital art, flowers have always carried stories of beauty, fragility, and renewal. In this exhibition, artists reinterpret this universal symbol through their own visions — exploring the bloom not only as a motif, but as a metaphor for growth, transformation, and the fleeting nature of life.
Floral Inspirations invites creators to capture the poetry of petals, the rhythm of seasons, and the silent dialogue between color and emotion. Each work becomes a living memory, a whisper of nature translated into human expression.
This exhibition reminds us that art, like a flower, is both fragile and eternal — a moment of beauty that continues to bloom in the imagination.
ARTISTS’ ENTRY OPENS ON 1.1.2026.
Winning works will be unveiled here on 21.1.2026.

winners
First Prize Winner Jason Shih, Summer Flowers Autumn Leaves
Painted ABS Taiwan
The work interprets Rabindranath Tagore's chant in "Stray Birds": "Let life be beautiful like summer flowers and death like autumn leaves."
Every life has its own texture, sometimes beautiful and glorious, sometimes reserved and silent. Under the reflection of time and space, the inner desire to soften and harmonize is combined into a meaningful appearance with the washing of light. Life becomes a long poem, and people wander in their own magnificent mood.
Merit Award Winner Manon Potvin, Incandescence
Oil on canvas Canada
This work speaks of the inner light we carry—one that flares and grows brighter with the act of loving.
Merit Award Winner Helen Smithwick, Iris Germanicus
Watercolor on paper United States
"Irises stand formally upright, like soldiers, but I look a little closer, beyond their stiffness, and see into the heart of their delicate beauty."
Merit Award Winner Ricky Montilla, Springtime bloom
Oil on canvas United States
"This oil on canvas painting combines elements of realism and impressionism to depict a close-up view of cherry blossoms. The style aims to evoke a sense of emotion and tranquility through its use of light and color. The use of oil paints involves dynamic brush strokes and potentially techniques like impasto (thickly applied paint) to create significant texture and depth. The rendering of light is a notable feature, with tonal precision and color harmony woven throughout the piece."
Honorable Mention Ann Dunbar, Bourgainvillia spectabilis
Embroidery 30x40cm France
"Embroidery on paper and liquid gold acrylic with watercolor."
Honorable Mention Brigitte B Burckhardt, White Elegance
Digital Photography Switzerland
"Taken in by White Elegance."
Honorable Mention Netta Ganor, Six Flowers
By the courtesy of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists worldwide
Oil on canvas Israel
"Pink daisies arranged in a glass jar are depicted with close attention to how light moves through petals and water. The warm, restrained background directs focus to the fleeting nature of the arrangement rather than to decorative detail."
Honorable Mention Gerhard Kroyer, Golden Rose
Digital Painting Austria
"A blooming composition of swirling golden forms, where layered textures spiral inward like flowing light, evoking warmth, movement, and a sense of timeless inner energy."
Honorable Mention Kylo-Patrick Hart, In Dreamland
Digital photography United States
"Dreamlike approach to foregrounding floral bounty and beauty."
"In this mixed-media collage silhouettes of seedpods and leaves are cut from marbled papers, their midnight blues and luminous purples veined with coppery gold. Speckled textures suggest starlight or drifting pollen, giving the composition a dreamlike, cosmic energy. Interlacing stems create a graceful vertical rhythm, while the pale background lets the richly patterned foliage glow as though lit from within."
Honorable Mention Andrea London, Bouquet to Be
Digital Photography United States
"An array of various types of flowers in deeply saturated colors, scattered on the table, will become a beautiful arrangement at the hands of the florist."
Honorable Mention Barry Smylie, Paladin Panel 12
Acrylic on Pressboard Canada
"The final panel of Paladin Panels series."
Honorable Mention JOANNA, Flower Duet
Pen and ink composition United Kingdom
"Flower Duet” is a dynamic pen and ink composition that weaves together intricate ribbons of black, white, and gold, evoking both the fluidity of music and the organic forms of two blooming flowers. The piece pays homage to Delibes’ famous “Flower Duet” from the opera Lakmé, with swirling lines and embedded musical notation that echo the lyrical interplay of voices in the duet."
"I used stencils for the foliage and highlighted datura which are night-blooming flowers prevalent in the US Southwest where I live. I love fireflies and this was the occasion to shine their little lights in a quiet night scene."
"Desert Trumpets celebrates the vivid beauty of Eremophila maculata, or Spotted Emu Bush, a plant known for its striking tubular flowers that thrive in arid landscapes. Their trumpet-like shape serves as a call to the natural world, inviting pollinators and bringing the essence of the wild into focus with bold color and delicate detail."
Honorable Mention Karen Safer, London Cauldron
Photography United States
"Photography - seeing the lovely cauldrons of flowers all around the city and stopping to smell and delight in their multi colors."
Honorable Mention Eliora BOUSQUET, The Blossoming of Life (17)
Ink on canvas - 80 x 60 cm France
Honorable Mention Paul J. Collins, Entwined
A photographic composition United Kingdom
"A photographic composition exploring the harmonious colour combination of white rose carpet blooms paired with the violet blue of phlox evoking a timeless sense of tranquility and charm."
